ACL Annual Conference Poster Sessions invite librarians and library staff to showcase the brilliance behind their successful research, ideas, tools, programs, or projects! These vibrant posters will take center stage during a dedicated session on Tuesday, June 9.

5 Reasons to Present a Poster

  1. Professional Engagement
Be part of the scholarly conversation—share your work and connect with peers across the profession. (Posters count toward your CV and professional portfolio.)

  2. A Great Entry to Professional Presentations
New to presenting? Posters are a low-pressure way to gain experience and build confidence. Seasoned presenter? Try a different format and spark informal conversations.

  3. Conversational & Interactive Setting
Posters create a dynamic space to explore multiple ideas and connect with several presenters in the time it would take to attend just one or two sessions. Receive real-time questions, feedback, and insights on your ideas, projects, or research in a relaxed, engaging format.

  4. Demonstrates Professional Contribution
Presenting a poster shows your administrators that you are actively contributing to the profession, which can help secure institutional support or budget approval for your conference participation.

  5. Creativity
Design a visual presentation that stands out and connect with others in a unique, interactive way.
