Note from the Coordinator

We want to take this opportunity to give you an update on ACL’s Reciprocal Borrowing Program (RBP). We recently launched an expansion to the program offering more flexible participation options. 68 libraries have renewed or newly joined under the new participation levels. The new list of participants is live on the website! Participants are still welcome to join at any time.
Finally, the CLC is looking to add one more member to our leadership team. This person will assist in marketing and promotion efforts, including facilitation of the monthly member update, participate in bi-monthly team meetings, and potentially provide support in updating and maintaining the CLC libguide. Kristina Claunch, Volunteer Coordinator for ACL, will soon be sending out more details about this position and how to apply.

Participation Deadline: September 11, 2025
CLC members can receive a discount on TREN’s digital library, which includes access to over 25,789 theological thesis and dissertation titles from more than 150 institutions. The current discount is 10% with 31 participating libraries, but if we reach 40 participants, the discount will increase to 15%. Final rates will be determined after September 11.
If your library is already subscribed through this CLC offer, your subscription will automatically renew unless you notify us otherwise. New subscribers are welcome—just use this form to join the group offer.
Participation Deadline – September 11, 2025
Galaxie’s Theological Journal Library (TJL) offers full-text access to 41 conservative, evangelical theological journals—36 of which are already indexed in the Christian Periodical Index (CPI). CPI uniquely indexes 8 of these titles, making it the only source for subject-based searching. Indexing coverage continues to grow, with additional TJL titles currently being added or prioritized. CLC members can subscribe at a discounted rate of 10% off the standard pricing ($10 per student/year, with a $500 minimum and $1,750 maximum). This offer is available to both new and current subscribers. The subscription year runs from September 15, 2025, to September 15, 2026, and the participation deadline is September 11, 2025.

Christian Library Network (CLN)
Expand your library’s reach with the Christian Library Network (OCLC symbol: CL@N)—an interlibrary loan partnership available only to CLC member libraries that subscribe to OCLC’s WorldShare ILL. Currently, 34 CLC member libraries have opted in for the 2025–2026 membership cycle. Thank you for those who have done so!
